Our Story
Three Brothers · One Vision
We didn't start a golf brand. We started a conversation about what golf clothing should feel like.
The beginning
It was a Tuesday in October. The three of us — brothers, on a week away from everything — stood on the 11th tee in Portugal and had a conversation we'd been having for years in different forms. Why does golf clothing feel so wrong?
Not wrong in quality necessarily. Wrong in spirit. The brands that existed either leaned into aggressive sport or tried too hard to be fashion. Neither felt like us. Neither felt like the people we played with — people who care about craft, who travel with intent, who dress as though the details matter.
We flew home and started Fratelli. Not as a business plan, but as a point of view. Three brothers, one standard. Italian heritage, Portuguese craft, a vision that golf deserved better clothes than it was getting.
"Golf never needed louder clothes. It needed better ones."
The symbol
Every Fratelli piece carries three diamonds. It is not decoration. It is a declaration. Three brothers, three voices that became one, three reasons why every stitch has to be right.
The diamond is the oldest mark in golf — from the classic argyle of vintage course wear to the geometry of early club crests. We took it back and made it ours.
The founders
Creative Direction
The eldest. Spent a decade in Milanese fashion before returning to sport. Believes clothes should be silent and speak only through quality. Handicap: 6.
Production & Craft
The middle. Sourced materials in Prato before moving to Lisbon to oversee our Portuguese production partnership. Every garment passes through his hands twice. Handicap: 11.
Brand & Community
The youngest. Was a scratch golfer at 19, a writer at 22. Joined the conversation last but changed it most. The one who decided to build a brand around people, not products. Handicap: 3.
What we stand for
We add nothing that isn't necessary. Every seam, every logo placement, every detail earns its place or it doesn't exist. The best golf clothing disappears into the background.
We make in Portugal because that's where the craft is. Extra-fine Merino, finished by hand, washed before it ships. We'd rather make 24 pieces right than 2,400 wrong.
We build things to last a decade, not a season. Our sizing doesn't chase trends. Our colours don't follow cycles. When you buy Fratelli, you're done shopping for that category.
